Introduction
Allopathy generally refers to the science-supported modern medicine wherein medical professionals (doctors, nurses, pharmacists and therapists) assess and treat any disease, its symptoms and effects by means of drugs, surgery, radiology etc. Medical professionals work individually as well as in team for analysing a patient’s disease or general health issues with their symptoms and effects and take steps for treatment with diagnostic tests, surgery, prescribing certain medications. They also undertake research in medical field to explore cause of ailments and best possible ways of treating diseases and injuries. The specialities in it include Internal medicine, Anaesthesiology, Neurology, Cardiovascular medicine, Paediatrics, Family medicine, Oncology, Psychiatry, Dermatology, Orthopaedics, Radiation oncology etc.
Eligibility
UG: 10+2 class pass with Physics, chemistry and biology
Entrance Test: NEET-UG. Besides, many medical institutes conduct their own entrance test for UG course in allopathic medicine
